Location General information The symposium is sponsored by Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Provo is about 45 minutes south of Salt Lake City, the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Within three or four hours of Provo are famous national parks like Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Arches. Spring is a great time to visit Utah. The meeting room at Aspen Grove will have a PC laptop, high-speed Internet connection, and data projector. Guest Internet access will also be available. Note Please be advised that because BYU is a church-owned school, there are some unique restrictions for activities that are held on campus. As far as your participation at this symposium, the main issue is that there is no smoking anywhere on campus, including the Aspen Grove Conference Center, participants are asked to refrain from coffee, tea, and alcohol. Caffeinated softdrinks are not available for purchase. Not to worry, the facility is just three miles from Sundance Resort where no such restrictions apply.
